NBA Commissioner Adam Silver might be hinting at the re-expansion of the Seattle Supersonics. In the 2007-8 season, when Kevin Durant, an NBA 2x Champion and a 13x all-star, was a rookie, the Supersonics decided to go all the way to Oklahoma City to create the OKC Thunder. Supersonics were a great team, although the franchise was not long lasting. They started off as a great team, and they had an age where Gary Payton, a superstar from Oakland,CA, and Shawn Kemp, an all-time great center, were playing together. I do not think that the Sacramento Kings, an NBA team that started as the Rochester Royals, were that much better. They only won a single title in 1951, although although the Supersonics also only won one championship, they made more finals appearances. Although there is no way the Thunder are going coming back to Seattle, there may be another team returning to the league.
