As Villa's one-hundredth anniversary is coming up, we interviewed Mr. Piecora, somebody who knows immensely about Villas history to celebrate 100 years of our favorite school!
————————————————————————
Q: How old is Villa?
A: Villa was founded in 1903 on Beacon Hill. In 1914, Mother Cabrini moved her mission to the Laurelhurst campus in Seattle, its current location. That means next year, Villa will be 100 years old!
Q: How is Villa different now from when it was when Mother Cabrini was around?
A: Looking at the Villa Academy, the Orchard was bigger, there was a house where the Treehouse was, and on the 4th floor there were showers. The Sisters of Mother Cabrini built the Villa Academy.

Villa Academy is now 100 years old
